To me, this concert location deserves a mention because of its unusual venue design. So many times people fall into the trap of creating spaces that are identical to real life - concert stages with places for fans. Benches, bleachers, stadiums, etc.
This concert, one of the first I attended that utilized live voice chat (before voice went live in SL), was an amazing for multiple reasons. Each avatar was given an inner tube that had been made so that it would bump against other tubes (bumper tubes!). The musicians interacted live with the audience through voice chat, and also performed using voice chat instead of an audio stream.
The singer, Jaynine Scarborough, was in Berlin, and the guitarist playing with her for one piece, Junivers Stockholm, was in Stockholm. It was an amazing hint as to what the future of music in SL may hold.
